A perfect stay – cozy apartment, amazing host, and warm touches that made us feel at home.

Our stay at Apartments Despotović was simply wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable – it instantly felt like home. We had an entire side of the house and the garden to ourselves, which made it even more special. We were traveling with our dog, and the host was truly amazing. She didn’t just welcome us – she cared. She met us at the main road so we wouldn’t get lost, guided us to the apartment, and took her time to explain everything. Our dog absolutely loved her (we think even more than us!), and the feeling was mutual. It’s rare to find such kindness and warmth when traveling, and it really made a difference. She went above and beyond by telling us about local festivities, pointing us to the best nearby bakery, restaurants, and the closest grocery store. Thanks to her, we really felt like locals and not just visitors. The location is perfect – about a 5-minute walk to shops, restaurants, and seaside promenade, yet still quiet and peaceful at night. Exactly what you wish for on holiday. And the welcome! When we arrived, the fridge was waiting with a big jug of lemon water and a beautiful platter of cold cuts, cheese, prosciutto, sausage, pickles, olives, and fresh bread. After a long day of traveling, sitting down to that meal felt like being welcomed into someone’s family home. We left with full hearts, feeling grateful and happy. We will definitely return – not only for the apartment, but also for the warm hospitality that made our stay unforgettable.

Friendly hosts & amazing value

Apartment had everything you would require. amazing value for money. we’ve been travelling around Croatia for weeks. everywhere else has been 3 times the price!!! Hosts were fantastic, even picked us up from ferry and took us to catch 7.15am ferry.

Exceptional

We were there for only a couple of days and our hosts were really great. Parking space is nearby and the host waited for us upon arrival. Additionally, a refreshing lemonade and breakfast plate were waiting for us. :)

An excellent vacation with excellent hosts.

Firstly, the location of the apartments is fantastic, just a 20 min walk from the port. But that doesn't matter because the host was there to pick me up(and also drop me off early in the morning. Thank you! I would've never made that ferry if it wasn't for you). The room itself is very comfortable and cool even in the summers so I never had to use the air-conditioning and hot water was always available. Since I didn't cook much, the small kitchen proved more than adequate for preparing breakfast, but it definitely has everything you need. The hosts were wonderful! I would say it was thanks to their advice and recommendations that the trip was a great success. And to sign off the whole experience, you can sit on the front patio surrounded by lemon trees and drink some wine as you stare at the Adriatic sea. It was perfect.

Nice room with sea view

The owners were very kind and they did everything to make us happy. The owner picked us up from the port and they left some antipasti and water with lemon in the fridge. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a large balcony with sea view. And their dog and the neighbors' dog were very sweet :)

Perfect accommodation.

The accommodation has a very good location the seaside, shops and restaurants are just a few minutes by walk. We would like to say a special thank you for our guests, the whole family was helpful,kind and always ready to answer for all our questions. When we arrived they left us some yummy treats in the fridge with refreshing lemonade, thank you again this warm welcoming! The room was clean,cozy and super quiet, we had a little terrace with table and chairs. The kitchen was well equipped, all the pans,cutlery,plates,mugs,glasses was provided so as towels and clean bedsheets. There is AC in the flat but we did not use it because on the ground floor the air was cool and we could easily make some draft. The wifi connection is also available in the flat, it was fast and stable. We also enjoyed the neighbor's dog's company, she is extremely friendly and cute . :) We highly recommend this place for everyone who's looking for a hidden place to rest in a beautiful environment.

Basic but worth it for the view.

Lovely view over Viz bay! The host left us a plate of cooked meats and cheeses. The owners dog, who was often in the garden, was very placid.

The parking space was difficult to get in and out of. There was not any worktop space in the kitchen area. Only 2 hob rings for cooking. No oven, microwave or grill.
