The hosts helped us to find the house. The family welcomed us with self made Croatian pastries and liqueur. They are very lovely people. The communication was very good. They also prepared us the traditional stone stove, but unfortunately we hadn't time to use it. The house and the pool with the view to the sea and the isle Brac (which is very near for a day trip) were amazing. There was much space and we liked the little garden with the fig tree. In the evening you can watch the beautiful sunset. The children didn't want to leave "our little paradise" :-)
There is only a gas station nearby. You have to drive to the supermarket and the beach by car and the traffic is often stop-go. And we had a little problem with ants, so we had to buy something against them. It wasn't expensive, but it would be better, if there was already something in the house.

It's a very relaxing location between busy resort town Makarska and Krvavica marina. We had everything readily available to enjoy our stay at Villa Dunja. It was a big plus that dogs are welcome to stay at the Villa. The owner was very welcoming and willing to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The Villa offers a fantastic panorama of the Adriatic Sea and the islands of Brac and Hvar. The Villa has a luxury feel with a big swimming pool and garden that is maintained regularly as well as private driveway to park the vehicle.
The Villa is in an obscure location of the main coastal road and can be difficult for arrivals to find. The air conditioning is only located in the living area and not in the bedrooms (but the owner kindly offered us an electric ventilator the very next day).
