Fine location for Blacck Forest but lacking cleanliness.

There was a good amount of parking and the space was good size. There were pots and pans and good amount of other kitchen utensils.

The table top and floor and many things in the kitchen were dirty. Some of the plates had been put away wet. There was only one had towel and no paper towels. The dish washer didn’t work so we had to hand wash everything which wouldn’t have been a big deal but with only one towel it was hard to accomplish. There is a quiet time but the guests in the building using the apartment above us stayed up laughing and talking quite loudly. I happened the next night so I don’t think they were told about the rule even though the steward lives on the premises (or at least seems to.) Some rouladen (window covers) were missing or broken.

Nice stay in Schwarzwald

We were looking to spend a weekend in Schwarzwald and have found this accommodation, which in comparison to other accommodations in the area has the best price. It is a nice wooden house with everything you need. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. We got Gästekarte after paying the taxes. It was a nice stay. Thank you very much!

A lovely property in a great location at the end of town.

There was quite a bit of noise from the other two apartments, as children were running around and banging doors. It didn't affect us during the night though fortunately.

It was a last minute booking but it exceeour expectations. Enjoyed it.

It was enough out of the town to be peaceful and quiet but close enough to walk into town for food and drink. Lovely place. Nice layout inside and areas to sit outside I. The garden too.

Great location and host, beds were comfy, facilities and space all good.

The location was excellent, just a short walk to the town which is very quaint. We took our dog and the facility was great for him, turning left from the property we had a wonderful walking area. Turning to the right was down a small bank to the town (Some great restaurants)

Adorable house near Lake Titisee

The beds were exceptional (not always a given in Europe!) The apartment was cute and cozy and had everything like hand soap and coffee filters that just make a vacation better. The owner met us and showed us everything. Parking was easy and so was the no-fuss check out. It was a little expensive but we were there over a holiday weekend so prices were understandable. We plan to come back in winter and do some skiing and sledding!

The location was convenient and quiet. The apartment was clean, spacious, airy, light. Two complete bathrooms/showers worked great for our family. The kitchen was fantastic for preparing our own meals. Anna was pleasant and helpful - a great hostess!

Location was centralized and perfect for getting around. It was quiet and a beautiful area within nature and very little vehicle traffic.

Parking was a little confusing as there were four marked spots and the main driveway, but five vehicles and only three apartments. No one fought or complained and we figured it out.

Best apartment in Germany - No Question!!!

The best apartment we have rented in Germany - no question! It was bright, warm, very comfortable - in fact, more comfortable than home. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for cooking, making toast, soup, or a complete dinner - plates and utensils were an IKEA lover's heaven. The dining area seats 8 and the living area can host a very nice gathering for family and friends. Digital TV to boot: BBC, France24, etc. Two bedrooms and two baths! No need to fight for a quick shower. It was just perfect - hard to leave.

We can't think of a thing - everyone agrees this was the best - thanks to Anna and Kate for welcomming us and making some nice suggesitons.

Fabulous place, quiet setting and minutes from the bus or train stations.

The decor was one of the best we have seen and it made us feel like we were in the country. We loved everything about this place and would recommend to anyone.

I wouldn't change anything about the layout nor the decor of your apartment, The people upstairs were kind and when we interacted with them, they were real friendly. I have not complaints.

Not the view/location/peace & quiet that we expected but besides it all a nice stay.

We've had a pleasant stay. The apartment is spacious, modern, comfortable and our dogs were welcome without extra costs. The beds are very nice with a good mattress and good warm blankets with nice covers. The beds slept wonderfully. The pillows are really big, a bit soft, but luckily you have two per person. The living room and kitchen are fine, there is a nice large table. The sofa is slightly less comfortable since one side sinks in (it's a sofa bed). It would be nice to add some atmosphere light's instead of just a large lamp in the living area. There are two bathrooms, which was really nice and the sanitary facilities are modern and comfortable. The kitchen Is really complete and even extras such as spices, coffee, sugar, washing liquid, shampoo, laundry detergent... On the way to our accommodation we called the owner and on arrival someone was welcoming us for administration and key transfer. There was an incident with the lighting in one of the bathrooms, this was taken seriously by the owner and a few days later an electrician came to fix the problem. From the apartment you can walk into the forest, to the Titisee, to the little town and many beautiful hiking trails and the railway station (free of charge with the guestcard!).

There is a garden but this is apparently shared with the other renters. A bit uncomfortable with the doors nice and open and sitting in front of the apartment (in the garden). Some of the facilities are shared, such as the washer, dryer (on of each, not 2 as shown on the pictures), sauna, drying rack. That's fine, but nice to know in advance. The first six days the washer, dryer and drying rack were continuous in use. So we had to wait a little longer for clean clothes and still do a hand wash. So it's nice to mention in the specifics what facilities are shared. It is stated that there are two houses that are 300 m apart. However it does not state that one of the houses is located in a calm spot with beautiful views just outside the village and the other house is in the middle of the residential area. We were surprised to see no gnomes on the house and the beautiful view of the photo is a 300 m walk tot the other (gnomes) house. Better to put this clearly in the ad , of place separate ads for the separate houses. And mention in the photo which accommodation you will find it, it's now a bit misleading. The house itself is old an therefor a bit noisy, which is not bad when you take each other into account. Unfortunately our first upstairs neighbors were very noisy. Until midnight there was music and loud talking on the balcony. There is a shared sauna (next to bedroom 1) which was used until around midnight. As well as the washer and dryer and the bedroom 2 is adjacent. Early in the morning, around 5 o'clock, the gang woke up again with noise and so did we. After 4 nights and a late night notification to the owner (after a few times asking directly to be less loud) things got better and shortly after they checked out.

Excellent Stay

The location was beautiful, quaint, and a perfect place to unwind. The property was clean and inviting to guests. We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful views. The owners were quick to respond when there was no power in the apartment.

The refrigerator was unplugged and open upon our arrival to the property. Unfortunately, we had to throw away much of the food that we purchased because the refrigerator did not get cold enough, quick enough to keep our food from spoiling. This is one of the biggest reasons we chose this property was because it had a refrigerator that we could keep our food cold.

Very friendly host and very clean and big house. Anna is very friend and arrange everything well. The equipment and furniture are very new and well organized. Room and bath room are big and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay in the house. We will definately come back again and stay more days here.
