We stayed here for a family reunion and loved the location which is right in the center of town next to the Cathedral which is where you want to be if staying in Altamura. The entire place is incredibly authentic and looks like it came out of a Disney movie. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the breakfast was a good mix of traditional items including fresh meats, fruit, yogurt, fresh bread and pastries sourced locally and served with delicious espresso and cappuccino. Everything you need is only steps away including many bakeries with incredible bread and focaccia, gelato, coffee, groceries, clothing etc. The best part was the owner, Nunzio, who was warm and welcoming,, responsive to our needs and treated us like family. This is our second time here and we are planning to stay here again when we come back next year.
