Le Marelle

This family run inn is outstanding! Savieo and Tony are brothers who work hard to please their guests. They and the other family members showed amazing hospitality. After three nights I felt like one of the family! The location is almost perfect at an elevation of about 600 meters the patio views are amazing. The Furore area is quiet and very beautiful. Around this small hotel are several restaurants to enjoy. We ate up the hill at BaccoFurore a Michelin star restaurant one night at the La Merelle the next and the third night down the hill at Luca’s Pizzeria, all were excellent.

The only tricky part is actually riding the Sita bus down to Amalfi, it tends to be quite crowded and mid morning it may be too full to stop. By the way, the bus stop is right next to the end of the driveway. When you come uphill push the stop button on the bus luggage railing when you see the small playground on the right side of the bus. The hotel has bus tickets.

I loved the views and the staff was super nice.

Not so convenient to get around, needed to request transportation to get to places.

The view was absolutely incredible, combined with the breakfast it is a perfect combination. The staff was probably the most welcoming and accommodating I've ever experienced at a hotel. My fiancee on my room was more than good for both of us and extremely comfortable.

The location is the only downside as public transport is the only real means to get to the hotel reasonably, and it is a slight hassle but overall worth it and easy to manage as the staff helps you understand the public bus schedule so instead of spending 100 euros on a cab to almafi you spend 3 euros on a public bus.
