Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was BEAUTIFUL and so delicious. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way unprompted to be as helpful as possible. They made transfer to the hotel from the airport easy. Room was not fancy, but comfortable and easy check-in/checkout. Very well located in Stone Town for walking to a variety of destinations.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town. The place is also very cute, spacious and with lots of character. The terrace is also a lovely touch.
You can tell the place is run down. Broke. Shower handles, extremely noisy fan, and the AC only work in one mode and also very loud. Not cleaned properly and there were red ants everywhere. Also the wifi would only work in the corridors, but not in the bedroom.
