Old building; toilet door doesn’t close properly

The room was very clean and they provided towels, a mosquito net, and hand soap for the bathroom (I chose a room with an en-suite). The hotel itself was just a 3-minute walk from the lively Forodhani Market where the majority of tours begin, however, the hotel itself was very quiet. The breakfast was excellent and had toast, jams and different local dishes that you could try, as well as coffee and some really tasty avocado juice. The staff were extremely warm and very accommodating. They helped me several times during my stay, including providing restaurant recommendation, and I had great chats with several of the people working there during my time.

Great location

Didn’t feel it as clean as the pictures shown and I felt it was a bit expensive for what I got.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town. The place is also very cute, spacious and with lots of character. The terrace is also a lovely touch.

You can tell the place is run down. Broke. Shower handles, extremely noisy fan, and the AC only work in one mode and also very loud. Not cleaned properly and there were red ants everywhere. Also the wifi would only work in the corridors, but not in the bedroom.
