I had an excellent stay! From the beginning, the host was incredibly kind and helpful — she gave great recommendations on places to visit and even arranged a driver, which made my trip much easier.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The breakfast was also very good, always fresh and well prepared.
The whole team was very friendly and attentive throughout my stay, always ready to help with anything I needed. I felt truly welcomed.
I have nothing negative to point out — I would definitely recommend this place!

comfortable large bed with view out to jungle And with a balcony. hot shower, drinking water, towel and good wifi in room. had a generous pot of welcome coffee along with basic information on a few things you can do in the area. breakfast is filling and with a view. you can walk to some rice fields and even some water falls. motorbike parking too. offers a few dinner plates but there are many warungs nearby too.
no complaint for being a good value for anyone on a budget

Most SPECTACULAR ViEVS so far in Bali - hard to believe it’s not a painting but all REAL a n d from your room!!!
Clean, spacious rooms
Bed with mosquito net but didn’t see any at all
Gorgeous terrace with contrasting plants & lots of privacy (room nb2)
HOT shower (bring your own soap etc)
Breakfast options
Access to drinkable hot & cold water
And definitely try BANANA FRiTTERS - SO delicious!
6 waterfalls to explore (i was walking) but if you can drive scooter there is just TOO much to see - literally mind blowing beauty and most often ALL to yourself without typical crowds!!
The family - just the warmest hosts, they also provide you with instructions & even pictures (so helpful!), and can arrange taxi wherever you need whether to your next stay or those poster-worth spots. There is NO GRAB in area.
Make sure you see the lake from above as well - you’ll be speechless!!
They also grow their own spices, cloves, vanilla, coffee, mangousteens, nutmeg, cassava, banana, durian etc - its just incredible to see it all in real life & you can buy spices & honey on site too. In Munduk I have found the biggest, most delicious mangousteens ever tried in both Thailand & Bali!! So grateful for the walks around family gardens and most delicious fruits gifted🥹🙏❤️
In Munduk, 800-1000m above sea level some really live above clouds. It’s incredible to immerse yourself in real rural Bali especially if you like me seek escape from overwhelmingly busy tourists hotbeds like Ubud etc - it was like a fresh breath of air - also much cooler and so much more enjoyable.
!! Be prepared - there is entrance fee (like anywhere in Bali) from 20-45K wherever you go (waterfalls, temples) - get plenty of cash in advance as there is NO ATM in a very simple village like Munduk.
But on Edy Homestay - you can pay with card, really helpful.
Internet doesn’t work yet inside room but works on your own terrace - maybe not a bad idea? Look where you ARE🙏
Bring earplugs - too many early roosters😅but part of any village experience ✨

The room was a decent size with an amazing view.
The bathroom sink looked like it had not been cleaned after the last guest left. Their are very few options for food at the attached warung and the few options their are are made with instant ramen noodles. The rice was dry and the chicken had no seasoning on it.
