Where to start. Everything was perfect. We were greeted by a puppy and literally a dozen cats. The olive trees all around are beautiful, some even a thousand years old. Breakfast was scrumptious. Fresh fruit, olive oil, pastries, coffee, all perfect. The owner is very sweet and attentive. Room was spotless and even cleaned in between nights. WiFi worked very well. It's a very cute, romantic place. Would happily stay again.

This is a tiny thing: the shower was quite small. But honestly, that's all I can think of.

Masseria LAMA DI GALIZIA is a hidden; very authentic, gem of a place to stay if you want a peaceful, very quiet off the beaten track to stay. It has a pool and olive groves to explore. The home made food was excellent, we had dinner first night of local delicacies and a good breakfast every morning. Nothing was too much trouble. It is ideal for touring the local area and returning to after the hustle and bustle of the local towns/cities to chill out after a day exploring. The hostess was very welcoming and whilst she didn't speak English and out Italian was very limited, Google translate worked a treat. She was attentive, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. A car is absolutely necessary to access the property as its a few km from the main road and further from public transport. The room has limited facilites, water provided daily, make sure you purchase any extra's (sweets/chocolate, fizzy drinks etc) local before returning to the property

The hostess was amazing. We do not speak Italian but she went out of her way to answer question about the property and lifestyle. Our breakfasts were personalised and she offered us homemade produce and with lovely detail offered to explain. Great suggestions about places to visit and accurate information on travel distance. The property is a real oasis and a holiday to enjoy with easy access to Puglia towns. Will be back . The swimming pool was just outside our room. The room was spacious and well-styled to enhance the rural setting. Even the painters were there to spruce up colour and maintain facade for new season
