Apartment Melissa

It is a secluded property, but only 5km from the main road, which offers a lot of peace. Access is easy if you want to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park or are in transit through the area. The hosts are discreet, we arrived late, but it was very clear which apartment was allocated and it was extremely easy to self check in. There is enough parking space and you are in the middle of nature. We enjoyed a better price than other accommodations available at that time in the area which, judging by the photos, did not seem to offer better or even similar comfort. I think the property has good potential, I noticed that there are outdoor facilities for grilling and outdoor dining. The host was kind and polite.

In my opinion, some minor improvements are needed, such as insect screens on the windows and door and a hood to ventilate the cooking area (I cooked something and felt pretty bad about the smell of the food). We missed air conditioning, but we came during a very hot period, I don't know what it is usually like, maybe it's not necessary. But all this will naturally lead to an increase in the price, probably.

Property was in a beautiful farmland. Lots of space to have a larger group and great proximity to Plitvice.

The address wasn’t exact on booking as it was when it was sent to us by owner. It was harder to find in the dark, and we got lost. We didn’t realize that owners had to wait up for us, so we felt terrible that our getting lost kept them up so late. They were very gracious. I suggest having them send address to confirm. Try to arrive while still light outside.

No proper facility , no heating , water was cold , owner was rude , no iron . They didn’t change cushion covers also , were quite rude
