The location is ideal! 5 minutes from the nature reserve, 10 minutes from Ponta Delgada. Probably 10-15 minutes from the closest beach up north. Smack dab in the middle of the island.

Fantastic accommodation on a manor. A fully equiped, large room with private bathroom, situated in a wonderful house with garden. There is a large shared kitchen with everything we needed. Next to the house is a horse ranch. The owner (and her playful dogs) welcomed us, explained everything and was very helpful. Our stay was wonderful.

Very friendly host, daily cleaning of top quality. This place feels like it's from a romantic movie. Multiple friendly dogs living on the premises. Constant offer of fruit and refreshments.

Located on the edge of Ponta Delgada, staying at Monte Ingles was a wonderful experience. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the surroundings were beautiful. The host was very friendly and happy to provide recommendations for places to visit on the island of São Miguel, which I actively used to plan my trips during my stay. The kitchen was also clean, and being able to spend time with the dogs, cats, and horses made the experience especially memorable.
The property is located just on the edge of Ponta Delgada, so reaching the city center requires a short drive. I personally enjoyed the quieter setting, though some travelers may prefer staying closer to the center.
