La Casetta Nel Bosco, Amalfi

Tolles kleines eigenes Reich. Sehr sauber. Bezaubernder Ausblick. Wir durften sogar eine Stunde länger bleiben. Danke!

Es war sehr kalt in der Unterkunft. Der Kühlschrank hat die ganze Nacht gerattert, sodass wir davon immer wieder wach geworden sind.

This is a truly beautiful place to stay in terms of views and amazing location. The little hut is a pleasant place to stay in peace and quiet. We are a young couple who don’t mind trekking a bit to get somewhere more remote, we also had a motorcycle to get us from the property after the first day. It’s not easy otherwise so that’s certainly something to take into account. For us it was pretty much perfect! The hostess was really kind and helpful but also gave us peace and privacy.

The equipment and furniture need a bit of love / replacement. There was only one (slightly broken) sun lounger and one deck chair, a small glass table and 3 chairs outside. We wanted to be able to relax at the property; lay out in sun loungers together outside but really only one of us could. A small outdoor or indoor sofa would really improve the comfort value. Inside the bed is old and uncomfortable and the kitchen is missing many items. We love to cook (hence why we picked a self catering property in Italy) but we couldn’t actually make anything other than pasta due to the lack of resources (an induction hob but not enough pans that work on it and a old burnt converter plate that doesn’t allow for enough heat to cook meat).

Un angolo di paradiso, una perla nascosta, immersa nella natura e lontana dal caos, la vista è mozzafiato, dal patio si può ammirare tutta la parte della costa verso Salerno, Amalfi si vede a occhio nudo e con occhi attenti si vede anche il Duomo. La colazione con davanti un panorama del genere è impagabile, la casa e’ fornita di tutto, il necessario e anche cose extra, come calici per vino, e tutto quello che può venire in mente, marmellate e varie cose per fare colazione, caffè compreso, per varie esperienze del passato avevo portato con me cose che di solito mancano sempre in questa tipologia di case, ma non sono servite, Teresa ha pensato proprio a tutto, è veramente una super host! gentile e premurosa, sempre pronta a chiarire qualsiasi dubbio. La casa era pulitissima, vista stupenda anche dalla camera da letto, nel frigo c’ era una bottiglia d’ acqua fresca e un graditissimo omaggio☺️, cucina accessoriata anche di canovacci, tovaglie, presine ecc, aria condizionata e connessione internet perfettamente funzionanti, nel retro della casa si trova una zona solarium con sdraio e doccia esterna nella natura, vicinissimo si trovano anche del percorsi per fare trekking, insomma abbiamo passato dei giorni piacevolissimi e la consiglio vivamente!

Purtroppo la strada è troppo stretta per passare con la macchina, i locali ci passano, ma non lo consiglio, si rischia di rimanere incastrati e essendo a doppio senso non ci si può nemmeno girare, bisogna camminare sulla strada una decina di minuti per raggiungere la strada principale, oppure salire delle ripide scale, sulla strada ci sono pochissimi parcheggi ma la casa ne ha uno dedicato per poco prezzo, per raggiungere la fermata del bus c’è da fare ancora altra strada, l’ideale sarebbe andarci in moto, se invece siete dei camminatori no problem!

The view amazing. the property suitable for people who are seeking to escape from the noise of the city and have fresh air. The owner is helpful and she gave us a number for one of her relatives who is working as a taxi and he was a nice person and his prices are half of the taxis down in Amalfi. if you know how to drive scooters I think it’s gonna be easier for you to rent and move easily.

The location was so far from Amalfi city around 8km in a small village in the mountain. It’s very difficult to get there and if you have too many luggage you will manage to get there. It costed us a lot regarding the transportation from Amalfi to the property around 60-70€ one way before we knew the owner’s cousin who was taking 30-40€ per ride.
