Centrally located, beautiful landscape, lake views, quiet apartment, friendly owner.

The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms that each had two twin beds in them, they were warm and comfortable. There was a nice living room area with a tv and a dining table, that had a sliding glass door that lead out to the patio that had a table and chairs overlooking the lake. The kitchen had a little table and was set up to be able to make our own meals, with plates, cups, bowls, utensils, pans, bread board, oils, seasonings, etcetera. There was a fabulous coffee/ espresso maker there to use with fresh ground beans included in it. There was dish soap, dishwasher soap, and sponges and dish towels included. The bathroom had a tub and shower combination with towels and toilet paper included. It has everything you need. You just need to bring groceries.The apartment had a beautiful view, it was very quiet and peaceful. We were given a garage assignment to use for our stay.

The apartment has 50 steps straight up to reach the building, and another 20 steps to get to our floor. That was tough bringing up 2 suitcases and a backpack each for the four of us. We didn’t mind it too much going out once to twice daily but my daughter in law was 6 months pregnant and it was somewhat difficult. Also, we didn’t notice a laundry area and had it done elsewhere.

Inexpensive, cozy, and practical apartment

The location of the apartment was excellent, close to several bus stations and just a 10-minute walk to the university. The best part was the amazing view of the lake. Having a well-stocked kitchen is a big plus for a relatively expensive place like Neuchatel. The price of the apartment was also very low compared to almost all the hotels. The nice couple who manages the property were very kind, despite the language barrier. They checked me in despite coming in late at night.

Great accommodation, great location.

Large comfortable airy apartment which is well equipped. Fantastic view over Lake Neuchatel, with the entire Swiss alps in distant view. (To get the good view you need to climb up to the property from the garage - probably not suitable for people with limited mobility). Regular bus service to Neuchatel,about 50m from the property. Excellent wi-fi speeds. Hosts on site but unobtrusive.

large apartment with beautiful views

The apartment is large with a well stocked kitchen. There is a laundry room available in the basement. The wifi is good at least for streaming Netflix. Great views of the lake. The bus stop is a two-minute walk and takes 10-15 minutes to reach the town center. Included in the booking guests receive the Neuchâtel tourist pass which includes public transportation and many tourist activities. Lastly, the coffee machine makes an excellent brew!

it wasn’t very clean, floors were dirty. The location is not the best, there is nothing around. However, if one comes for work then location is ok since the bus is very convenient. The worst part about the apartment is that the building is up a steep hill and then depending on what floor the unit is, there are still floors to climb. If someone has a lot of luggage, it is quite a workout!

50 STEPS! If you have or don't have limited mobility it was a challenge going up and down the steps. They were a little uneven also.

Spacious apartment with excellent lake view

- Quite spacious apartment. The view from the balcony and living room was amazing. - The location is good, though not quite central. It's approximately 20-min away from the center on foot, and 8-min by bus. - Kitchen is well equipped, has pretty much everything you would need.

- Cleanliness: we felt like the apartment wasn't cleaned properly. Most of the tables, wardrobes, even the bedside table was quite dusty. Some plates and glasses in the kitchen were also a bit dirty.

Beautiful, well cared for older apartment in a perfect location with a great view.

The location is perfect -- 1km from a mall where I ate, shopped, drank, shopped, drank, drank, ate ... it's a beautiful city. I wish I had set aside more time to spend there and do more exploring but it was a holiday week and many businesses were closed. The apartment has pretty much everything you need including a full kitchen.

I have had a recent knee injury so the steps up to the house -- probably 25 of them -- could be a challenge but I was careful and it worked out OK.
