Great place near the airport for an overnight stay

It was very clean,the staff were warm and welcoming and the cost of accommodation is budget friendly.

The only thing I didn't like was the lack of air-conditioning. Sleeping in a warm room would have made my stay even better.

This was perfect for what we needed, a place to stay before and after our 5 day trip to Victoria Falls. So it was very convenient having the free shuttle to and from the airport and also that it included breakfast and the option to eat dinner there, so we didn't need to leave the property for meals. We chose the "deluxe" room for our stays which was a great choice. These rooms are quite new and comfortable. A couple of minor problems but they were dealt with promptly (hot water hadn't been turned on so we were shifted to another room rather than have to wait for it to heat up). The dinner meals were simple but tasty and seemed to be reasonably priced. The breakfast was a straightforward "Full English" consisting of two eggs cooked to your liking, 2 small sausages, 2 pieces of bacon, a slice of tomato, a spoonful of baked beans and a slice of toast. Although not a large serving, it was certainly enough for us. Tea, coffee and juice available too. For a small charge we were able to leave a couple of bags with them while we were at Victoria Falls which saved us having to lug them along with us, which we appreciated.

The WiFi didn't really work in the rooms, however, I had some esim data to use on my phone (although that was also a bit intermittent) but we managed ok. Not sure how the TV programs were accessible as everything seemed to require internet connection which didn't work in the room, but we didn't worry about asking as we kept ourselves amused with our own devices. There were no doors on the bathroom which would be nice for a bit of privacy nor a shower screen to stop the water splashing onto the floor out of the shower (this could be due to the room still to be finished?) We very much appreciated the free shuttles but going to the airport would be even better if they could drop you off at departure area rather than at the bus pick up location (quite a walk to the check-ins) but I suspect this is probably the airport administration rules and JNB is definitely not a "user friendly" place! Not the hotel's fault, of course!
