Macarena's House

Macarena met us in town and took us to the property, giving loads of useful, local info en route. Before we even arrived at the house, a 3 minute walk, we knew where to eat, where to shop, how to get around. She was incredibly helpful and friendly. Valldemossa is a tourist stop for daily coach trips, but they seem to target mornings, so the town is quiet from around 2pm. The shops sell good quality gifts and fabulous clothes. A return visit will see me with an empty suitcase on arrival, to fill with my purchases. Local restaurants are plentiful and serve excellent food and great Majorcan wine.

The property was perfect. We were in the heart of a beautiful Majorcan town at the height of summer, and it was hot. No air con, but to be honest, I found this refreshing and a fan in bedrooms and lounge, sorted this potential issue for me. So - I just loved every minute of my holiday. If you want quiet, Valldemossa in the afternoon is perfect. If you want a bit more beach/ bar action; catch a local 203 bus to Soller. Car hire is easy, but the narrow, twisty roads made this option scary for me personally. Buses are frequent and taxis plentiful so, again, one possible negative is neutralised.

Niets. Alles in de woning is aanwezeig. Geen airco , maar wel ventilatoren die voor verfrissing zorgen. S'avonds koelt het zowiezo wat af en de temperatuur was best draaglijk. De woning is een thuis!

Centrally located house in the charming town of Valldemossa. Perfect for a couple or family up to 4. The village is about 30 minutes from Palma. The host Macarena is a wonderful person and takes pride in proving a good experience for her guests. Many great restaurant choices.

Nothing I didn’t like - but note that parking is not on site but is a short walk to a public lot. The village attracts many tourists during the day.
