A stunning property in a beautiful location. Good breakfast provided. Used the swimming pool which had loungers with a good view of the estate. Our bedroom had a hidden wet room which was beautifully designed & equipped.
We enjoyed a wine tasting accompanied by the history of the chateau & the Entre-Deux-Mer region (extra cost)
The location meant that it was a car ride to restaurants & there were no options for food, other than breakfast, at the chateau. However it was a price worth paying for the peace & tranquillity of the estate

Loic and Diane are excellent hosts. Loic toured us through the chateau which was originally a 14th century castle, refitted in the 16th century, and then bought by Loic's ancestor in the 1790s. It's a great story he tells, including a tour of the vineyard and a short lesson on viticulture. We arrived after 6pm on Saturday and asked Diane about local dinner options. She made a half dozen calls (most places were already full) before finding two reservations for us -- two perfect, amazing dinners with regional fare.
