This hotel truly captures real German culture, it’s beautiful, quiet, and spotless.

I really liked the style, peaceful environment, and how quiet the place is. The place is amazing.

Just as I remember it from years ago….excellent!!

Forsthaus is in a very peaceful, tranquil location. Everything is done to make guests welcome without being overly fussy. I’ve noticed a few changes/modernization since my last visit some 16 years ago but the essential character remains unchanged. I used to come here frequently during my motorcycling years and was very happy to see Christian again. The menu has changed but is still excellent, the authentic Spanish tapas really must be tried….

Nothing to dislike, the Forsthaus really is a very special place….

It was a relaxing couple of days. I will certainly stay there again.

Great breakfast. It's very quiet; the nearest town is Mayen, some 6 miles away. It's within walking distance of the Riedener Waldsee, where there are 2 great restaurants.

I do not think anything could have been better, other than been nearer a town or village.

Sehr hundefreundlich. Sehr netter Eigentümer. Gutes spanisches Abendessen. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Gute Ausgangslage für Spaziergänge und Wanderungen in der Vulkaneifel. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Reisende müssen durch den Speisesaal mit dem Gepäck laufen, um zum Zimmer zu gelangen. Ist aber nicht schlimm.

Einfache aber schöne und ruhige Unterkunft. Die Eigentümer sind sehr herzlich und erfüllen ihren Gästen fast alle Wünsche. Sehr zu empfehlen - hervorragendes Frühstück. Bestens geeignet für Motorradfahrer und alle, die auf den Nürburgring wollen.

Man darf eben keine luxuriöse Ausstattung der Zimmer erwarten :)

Super, locatie was goed.

De vriendelijkheid van de eigenaar. We kwamen aan en kregen meteen een upgrade naar kamer met balkon waar we toch behoorlijk hebben vertoeft. Het ontbijt was goed en ook het diner met lekkere tapas was goed.

Wij kwamen op dinsdag aan, maar dinsdag en woensdag is feiertag dus konden we daar niet eten of drinken. Gelukkig waren in de buurt leuke restaurantjes

Top Service durch super nettes Personal und auch der Chef des Hauses ist sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant ist ganz hervorragend und auch das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und gut.

Super schöne ruhige im Waldgebiet liegende Unterkunft mit ausgeprägtem Service

Sehr freundliches Entgegenkommen des Inhabers, super angenehm und persönlich. Wünsche wurden jederzeit erstklassig erfülllt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und ausgeprägt ausgestattet. Gerne wiieder !!!!

Zeer vriendelijke host en personeel.Heerlijk ontbijt en diner. Verder een grote overkapping waar motoren onder geplaatst kunnen worden. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor motorritten door De Eifel.

Inrichting van het huisje is gedateerd. Grote groene half ronde leren bank in een relatief klein huisje. De trap naar de vide is wiebelig 'gevaarlijk'.

De Blokhut: geen gordijnen op een van de slaapkamers, kleine handdoeken om te douchen, toilet vulde zich niet Met water, moest een emmertje gebruiken om te door te spoelen

Fantastisch en voor herhaling vatbaar!

Het personeel was vriendelijk, de locatie perfecte uitvalshoek voor motortochten. Motoren overdekt kunnen stallen. En het eten wat super lekker!
