Bigova Sea Views Apartments

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und befindet sich abseits vom Trubel. Die beiden Terrassen sind großzügig und mann hat eine gute Aussicht auf die Umgebung. Von der Unterkunft sind es 10 Gehminuten zum Strand. Dort gibt es am Restaurant Liegeplätze und Getränke usw.

Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr gemütlich. Wir waren zufrieden 😀.

Very spacious apartment with a large terrace and separate air conditioning units in all rooms. The location is quiet and secluded, which suited us perfectly. We received all the necessary information regarding access to the apartment and parking before our arrival. The apartment manager, Vadim, was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We experienced an issue with the air conditioning in one of the rooms, and he quickly arranged for a technician to resolve it. The apartment was well equipped with useful essentials, including cutlery, some knifes in relatively good condition, dishwasher tablets, detergent, a cleaning sponge, mosquito repellent, and charcoal for the grill. An ironing board and a drying rack for clothes were also provided, which was very convenient.

There were a few issues that could be improved. The cleanliness of the dishes upon our arrival was not at the expected level. Some plates were not properly clean, and although the glasses appeared clean, they were covered with a white residue. As a result, we had to rewash the dishes we intended to use. Interestingly, after a few days of use and repeated washing in the dishwasher, the glasses became completely clear and shiny. The terraces could also have been cleaner. The beds and bed linen were in good condition, and the towels were clean, although some of them were quite old, very thin, and close to being worn out. Several chairs were rather wobbly due to loose bolts. With Vadim’s assistance, who kindly lent us the necessary spanners, we were able to tighten them ourselves. In general, the apartment is well equipped, but some of the furnishings and equipment are showing signs of wear. There were also indications that certain bathroom accessories had once been present but are now missing. One important point is that the tap water is not suitable for drinking, as it is supplied from rainwater storage and additional tanker deliveries. We were not informed of this upon arrival and only learned about it after speaking with neighbours a couple of days later, who advised us to purchase drinking water from a nearby shop. Fortunately, we were OK asw during the high seasons there are regular delivery of the water. The apartment would also benefit from a better broom. A few new pans and (smaller) pots would also be welcome. In addition, we missed having a plastic or wooden cooking spoon suitable for use with non-stick cookware. (we brought our own pan, we forgot utensils at home) Despite these comments, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. With a few relatively minor improvements, this could become an even more attractive and enjoyable place to stay.

The apartment was well-appointed, and the location offered easy access to the sea and natural beauty of the area Overall, it was a serene retreat and highly recommended for a peaceful getaway in Bigova.
