An amazing and authentic experience with the convenience of walking to everything we wanted to see in beautiful Genova

Location, ten steps from the door to a restaurant and cocktail bar, twenty steps to a great Cafe and close to both museums palazzos and not too long a walk to the Porto antico The classic decor and interior especially the plaster cieling style and murals was impressive

The shower was very difficult to use and a couple of things need replacing example the kitchen has no light and forgot dishwashing liquid

Unique Historical Apartment in Center of Genova

The apartment is spacious, 2 floors, very historical with round cathedral ceilings, stylish, and full of historical charm, with beautiful marble steps leading up to the courtyard. The location is very upscale—similar to staying in a Manhattan-type area in New York ( I was told that by locals, otherwise I could not compare, it was my 1st time in Genova), — safe, central, and surrounded by historic landmarks. It’s only about a 15-minute walk to the port, close to the Aquarium, Corvetto Square, and Palazzo Doria Tursi. Rents in this part of the city are usually high, but I booked a few months in advance and got a good price for June. Apartment has a good large desk where I could work (online). The kitchen is well-equipped, the washing machine was useful, and WiFi worked well throughout my stay. Overall, it’s a unique place to experience the atmosphere of Genova.

There is no elevator, and to reach the courtyard you must climb a very long staircase equivalent to about three flights of stairs. Carrying luggage was extremely difficult. The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. A portable unit sat unused in the corner of a bedroom with no way to install it, and there was only one half-broken fan. I stayed for two weeks in June, when the temperature was over 30°C (around 86°F), and it was very uncomfortable—especially if you are used to A/C. I messaged the host asking for at least a better fan, but they did not respond.

The apartment did not meet basic cleanliness and maintenance standards, which led me to shorten my stay.

I liked the old architecture, the location is great for being close to the city and there is a bus stop right outside. The apartment could be made beautiful but it is so poorly managed.

The overwhelming stench of urine coming from the bathroom and the stains all over the apartment. The smell upstairs was also not much better and was very messy, as though someone had slept on the bed and sofa. It did not feel clean and I had to leave half way through my stay as it was not comfortable. There is no AC except for a fan machine which you have to keep the windows open for which results in mosquito bites (and only cools if you are sat directly in front of it). Flies were coming from the sink because it was not cleaned properly.

Non c’è aria condizionata e la casa era molto calda, arredamento molto vecchio, decisamente sporco, nessuno è venuto a fare accoglienza né all’arrivo né alla partenza, bagno rumorosissimo e puzzolente, tantissime scale esterne e interne per cui con i bagagli proprio non agevole, la cucina davvero poco pratica, doccia rotta e vecchia.

Centre ville ET calme

L'emplacement central et au très grand calme ce qui est un luxe à Gènes. Petite table à l'extérieur (cour intérieure) très agréable à la mi saison. Espaces spacieux.

Très peu de pression dans la douche. Assez chaud la nuit car les chambres sont sous les toits (il n'y a la clim que ans l'une d'entre elles) et cela doit être problématique lors des grosses chaleurs. L'espace cuisine est assez sombre.

tegenvaller ondanks de prachtige stad

Prima lokatie om de stad te verkennen, vlak bij oude binnenstand en de haven. Stad is zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken.

ons appartement had een probleem daarom kregen we een ander appartement dat 1/3 van de omvang had en slapen op een bankbed. Geen zitcomfor en ook geen aparte slaapkamergoals we geboekt hadden. Kan allemaal gebeuren en fijn dat ze snel een oplossing hadden, alleen daarna niks meer gehoord en een fatsoenlijke terugbetaling wegens de mindere accommodatie die we hadden kon ook niet (zou in de voorwaarden staan) Booking.com kon ook niks voor ons doen(ook organisatie waar je buiten het boeken niks aan hebt als er problemen zijn). kortom een tegenvallende vakantie belevenis met een slechte verhuurders organisatie. heel jammer

Bonito lugar en el corazón de Génova.

El lugar es precioso, está muy bien ubicado en pleno centro y rodeado de la arquitectura tan especial que tiene Génova. El lugar es muy especial entrando por un jardín interior, con techos abovedados. Muy muy bonito. Tiene una cocina muy bien equipada.

La intransigencia de la persona que nos entregó las llaves. La hora de llegada era máximo a las 8pm, si no cobrarían un extra de €20. Al entrar a Génova el caos del tráfico, lluvia, etc nos retrasó 5 minutos y a pesar de estar comunicados con la persona todo el tiempo explicándole la situación nos cobró los €20 por haber llegado literalmente 5 minutos tarde. Ese tipo de cosas hacen que la experiencia comience torcida. La calefacción hacia ruidos por la noche.

Sympa mais des améliorations à faire

Appartement spacieux pour 3 personnes à la décoration authentique. Calme, donnant sur un joli petit jardin avec des kumquats, au pied du vieux Gênes.

Cabine de douche à remplacer et papier toilette pas vraiment "eleganza". Il manque une table basse pour les apéros en hiver. Chauffage mis au dernier moment. 24h pour monter la température à 18°C 🥶. Manque un torchon à vaisselle.

Hermoso departamento súper cómodo con dos cuartos . Súper luminoso con un jardín muy acogedor. El baño muy grande . La zona una de las mejores. La persona que nos recibió muy atenta y servicial.

Que no tiene ascensor lo único para ser más que perfecto, igual es un primer piso y un poquito más.
