Protaras Villa Angela Nefeli

Die Lage ist super, in wenigen Minuten ist man an der Hauptstrasse mit Lebensmittelläden, Bars und diversen Restaurants. Ebenso schnell ist man zu Fuss an den zwei Stränden. Das Haus ist sehr schön und toll eingerichtet. In der Küche hat es alle notwendigen Geräte und diverse Ausstattungen. Bei der Ankunft war der Kühlschrank sogar mit einer Flasche Mineral, Orangensaft, Milch, Weisswein und Toastbrot ausgestattet. Auch vorhanden waren ein paar Kaffeekapseln, Zucker und Teebeutel. Das war ein toller Service. Die Terrasse ist sehr schön und gemütlich.

Die Fenster sind wie in ganz Zypern nicht schalldicht und man hört alles auf der Strasse. Zum Glück ist es eine sehr ruhige Anlage und es gab nicht viele Störungen.

Die Villa hat sehr gute Ausstattung, war sauber und bietet sehr viel Platz. Sehr schöne Terrasse, leider nicht möglich zu nutzen, weil extrem heiß und feucht (klimabedingt). Ein fehlendes Safe wurde eingebaut.

2 mal riesen Kakerlaken in dem Zimmern gefunden, eine Ameiseninvasion in der Küche und ein Kühlschrank der sehr störende Geräusche gemacht hat (Kompressor anscheinend defekt). Kein Geschirrspüler!

Everything was perfect. The Villa was clean and the keys easy to collect . The outside patio area was beautiful and included a BBQ, rotisserie and outside sink. A bottle of complimentary wine and chocolates were left for us on arrival. The location was great. I wouldn’t have any hesitation booking again. By far the best place we have stayed in the area ! . 10 out of 10.

Villa is nice. Nothing extravagant but has everything that needs to have and a bit more. Beds are comfortable, has cooking equipment and BBQ facilities , a washing machine, 2 bathrooms and even some board games and books to read. The highlight is the spacious patio in the backyard. It has both a table where you can have your meals if you don't want to eat in the kitchen and an outdoor couch and chairs in a living room arrangement where you can spend time relaxing in the shade. We had a 4 year old with us and we felt perfectly safe him being on the outside. Villa belongs in a gated complex of villas/ apartments and it features a common use swimming pool and other facilities like tennis court and spa.

Staff/Customer service: First alarm went off when they send me a whatsup message the day before our arrival requesting our arrival time and if we have any questions. I replied instantly asking a couple, but never heard back. When we reached the property they had instructions on how to get the card to open the barricade and enter the complex, but apparently the card was broken/expired and the barricade would not open. I immediately called their emergency line to let them know and for them to send someone to open and give us a card that works. Woman on the phone pretty much told me park outside and carry your stuff there (it's about 300m, so not far but not easy with a packed car and a 4 year old). We finally entered the premises behind another car that their card worked. I got a call after about an hour from an other member of the company explaining to me that the office is closed and they ate not sure if there is anything they can do. She explained to me that there is a hidden entrance that doesn't have a barricade and we should use that one until they are able to bring me new one. Said fine and moved on. A bit later we went to checkout the complex's swimming pool. Guess what? It required a working card to be able to enter. We had to ask people already in to let us in and explain that we live here but our card doesn't work. Immediately called back to let them know as it seemed that complexity living there was incrementally rising without a card. They promised to me that they will do whatever they can. Early next morning a car parked outside our villa and a lady came our way. She asked how are we doing etc. I immediately asked if she's got our card. She had no clue. She had come to collect deposit which I denied giving unless they would provide us with a card. She made some calls and said that will come back with the card and to collect the deposit. She didn't.
