A finely designed comfortable spacious guesthouse right on the shorefront with charming hand-painted interior deco. The best asset to your stay will be Lidija (pronounced Lydia) the manager who lives on-site in one of the ground floor apartments. Although she doesn't speak English, I still found her the most helpful and considerate manager that I've come across in Croatia. We managed very easily using Google Translate. If you are looking for peace & quiet overlooking a supreme lakeside panorama, you could look no further from here. The biggest near-by supermarket is called Tommy - about a 10 drive on the main road heading toward Sibenik. The apartment is situated around a 20 min drive from the old Venetian town of Sibenik. If you are lucky to grab a space (easier in the evening), you can find free parking at the far end of the lake-front just beyond the ferry port in Sibenik... Loved my stay and can highly recommend this property and location...
If you're planning to cook at the property, just let you know that while most Croatian self-catering apartments come with hot-plates, there is generally no cooker, grill or toaster. There is, however, a Microwave at this property with combi functions, which is one up from other apartments I've stayed at out here. If you're English, driving out, and like toast in the morning, then I might recommend bringing a toaster. In general, I'd also recommend a few supplementary utensils - a peeler & corkscrew in particular, but wise in general to bring some sharp knives etc. This apartment, however, was generally better fitted out than most. It's a little chilly in April. Warms up in May. But plenty of extra bedding if required. Lastly, while Raslina has a basic local shop, it didn't have any cafe/restaurant in April 2023 when I visited. You'll find these, just over the hill 4km away in the quaint inland harbour of Zaton.
