The spacious chalet and view of the river with boats.

The swimming pool and spa facilities were shut, so could not use, no prior notice from booking .com.

We'd gladly go back, but read all the fine print.

The location is terrific, right outside Dordrecht. The playgrounds are well maintained and my children enjoyed them. We also loved the pool area and the fresh bread that could be ordered for each morning. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and good at answering direct questions.

The signage could have been better, with clear indications of open and closed hours. We missed out on the pool one day because it closed after 5PM for lessons, but there was no indication of that except in small print on a paper buried in the welcome packet. Similarly, the place to order bread closed at 7PM one day and 1PM the next, so we (and about a dozen others who arrived with us at 4PM) were unable to order bread for the next day. As a result of this and other similar communication issues, we weren't able to fully take advantage of the amenities of the park.

Just the fact that it has an indoor swimming pool

The worst holiday experience ever. I’m so heartbroken and frustrated with the whole duration of our stay. We are charged around €50 for cleaning but it was so unclean and everywhere was full of spider webs. It’s so obvious that the property didn’t have any deep cleaning for years as when we opened the windows all the spiders and other dust were coming in. Also we were quite unlucky to spend our long awaited holiday in a house which was having the direct sunlight and it was the hottest couple of days of the year. The room temperature was showing around 40 degrees during the day as there was no air conditioners so we had to run away before the noon time and spend our precious time away from the holiday home until it was nearly 10pm and it was still unbearably hot. The kids weren’t able to sleep neither could us so we literally had no relaxed time, no rest, no fun 😣 and the staff weren’t so helpful as when mentioned these problems all they said was there’s nothing we can do. Such a big disappointment 😕
