Nice, peaceful location with great views from the Heron pod. Staff on arrival were super friendly, really easy to check in and check out. Shower block / toilet block was tidy and a very short walk from the pod. Cleaning facilities for plates / cutlery etc were right outside the block so also easily accessible. Lovely little pond about a 5 minute walk away from the site and we even got to see a wild deer!
Could do with some more facilities on site in the way of food / drink. There is a little shop / food place on site that sell pizzas and breakfast food etc, but unfortunately it was closed for the weekend of our stay (bank holiday weekend). The lovely girl in the shop advised they would be shut and recommended a breakfast place called ‘the water trough’ but unfortunately that was also shut over the bank holiday weekend so we settled for weetabix🙈

It was in a nice quiet area and it was so peaceful
Sofa bed was a little uncomfortable with it starting to dip in the middle

In the countryside in a quiet location
Tired pods which are 14 years old and need remedial cosmetic attention. Door on shower cubical would not lock. Wet floor after shower in rest of block.
