Our host Hondo did care perfectly for all our wishes, welcomed us personal, organized a great breakfast on the little rooftop restaurant. The rooms are clean, whole building cosy equipped, car parks safe on the ground without access from outside. We felt welcome and very well, even when we just stayed only one night.

Small boutique hotel with only a few rooms in Morcellement Beau Rivage, Tombeau Bay, offering a quiet, upmarket setting close to Port Louis and beautiful beaches like Le Goulet and Balaclava Jean Marc made booking effortless, helping with airport transfers and car hire before we even arrived Pamela and her whole team welcomed us like family from the very first moment Lovely courtyard and pool area surrounded by tropical plants, perfect for relaxing and mingling with other guests Spacious room with AC, fridge, desk, kettle, and a large wardrobe, plus a private seating nook outside Housekeeping team kept our room immaculate every day, with fresh towels and thoughtful little touches During our particular stay, the team organised special excursions and hosted a beach barbecue for us and other guests — a lovely, memorable touch, though we understand this was just for our stay and not offered to all guests Excellent restaurant with a different cuisine served daily (Mauritian, Indian, Chinese, Italian, seafood), with genuine care for dietary requirements. Executive Chef Hondo and his team ensured we enjoyed every meal, Breakfast & Dinner Rooftop terrace with stunning sunset views over the sea and a lovely cooling breeze Great atmosphere for combining work and holiday too — we noticed several other guests doing exactly that, with a calm setting well-suited to it Excellent value for money given the level of service, food, and personal attention we received The personal service and warm welcome here are exactly the kind of experience you don't find at the bigger hotels and resorts We feel like part of the family now and will definitely be returning

Nothing, however guests need to be aware of the following: If you're planning to visit sites in the south of the island, note that they're a fair distance away — actual travel time will vary depending on traffic, so build in some buffer Mauritians love their dogs, so expect to see friendly dogs around the neighbourhood — not an issue, just good to know in advance The bar and restaurant could be advertised a little more to guests — a menu or info card in the room would help everyone know what's on offer A few basic French phrases go a long way, even though most people speak English fluently

Position is good. It's located in Tombeau Bay. We particularly appreciated its easy access to the capital Port Louis. The all west coast can be easily traveled by car from there in few hours. Breakfast was also good.

Unfortunately there was a fire accident in our room. No safety check, smoke alarms neither. A fire extinguisher only outside the room. The fire was caused by a short circuit. Not sure if there was any electrical safety device in the electrical system. Had also to remind to clean bathroom floor every day as it didn't seem to be done daily, every 2 or 3 days probably.
