YHA Brecon Beacons

The location was stunning. I went for a friend gathering but ill definitely return to hike and climb. Staff were all really lovely.

Great location and value for money, we were in the pods outside but had lights inside and thick duvets so kept warm. Super lovely and accommodating staff, lovely bathrooms, shower and kitchen. Lovely vibe, very sociable chatted to other guests of all ages. Gorgeous view overlooking peaks from our pod windows. Cozy common room with board games. Honestly was so worth it we were really pleased with our stay!

I like how it tucked away inside nature

The shower was cold and I didn’t have a shower

We arrived in the evening and found the location, the nature and the silence great. The reception was staffed and the nice lady there answered all our questions and was very friendly. We were able to move into our room immediately. The toilet was very clean and newly renovated. The atmosphere with other travelers was pleasant in the common areas and it was quiet at night. The staff went out of their way to feed us in the morning and the coffee was good.

The rooms are small, but that's what we thought for a hostel. The duvet covers smelled a bit, and there was a lot of dust behind the beds.
