Excellent location: the property is in a beautiful location, making it a great place if you want to stay somewhere quiet. Well maintained: the property was in very good condition and clearly well looked after. Great facilities: everything we needed was available, and all the utilities and facilities were working properly throughout our stay. Well stocked: there was a good supply of essentials, which made the four-day stay very comfortable. Thoughtful extras: we particularly enjoyed the selection of board games, binoculars and the bird-watching telescope. These were lovely touches and added to the experience.

The only significant issue was the cleanliness of the main living room. It appeared that previous guests had stayed with dogs, and unfortunately there was quite a strong pet smell in the living room, along with a noticeable amount of dog hair around the room. We contacted the cleaner about this, and she explained that she had tried to clean it but was unable to completely remove the smell and hair. Unfortunately, the issue remained throughout our stay, which made it difficult for us to comfortably enjoy the main living space. What was particularly surprising was that this issue seemed to be limited to the living room. The other rooms were clean and in good condition, so we had no complaints about them. A more thorough deep clean of the living room, particularly after guests travelling with pets, would make a big difference. Other than this, we genuinely had very little to complain about and thought the property was excellent.

The cottage was lovely, comfortable, clean and had everything you needed and much more. The views were amazing and the beach was on your doorstep.

A fantastic property, clean, warm, comfy, really well equipped with plenty of games, films and books. Good sized rooms, great location and view, 3 mins walk to the local beach of lovely golden sand, and Red Point beach only a few minutes drive away. Badachro Gin from the local distillery is a must. Watching a Golden Eagle from the kitchen window really was the icing on the cake!

The hoover smelled of dogs. That really is all we could fault. Its genuinely a lovely place to stay.
