Clean. Quiet. Better than expected. Beautiful area.

Superbly appointed cottage in a lovely village which was ideal for our family early Christmas celebration. Mr Robin Fry (owner) was friendly and very helpful. There is a lovely pub just up the road which serves great Sunday lunches. We would definitely return.

Nothing to dislike.

Loved the location although the local traffic was much heavier than I expected it to be in September. The cottage is very welcoming and spacious - ideal for a group of friends or extended family. It's dog friendly too which was the initial reason we booked this particular property. There are footpaths for good walks close by. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you might need even if you fancy whipping up a Victoria sponge!! A tea tray left ready with a delicious packet of biscuits plus a pint of milk in the fridge was a welcome touch when we arrived. Recommended. We hope to go back some time.

Not much that we didn't like. Some of the furnishings were a little tired and the odd dusty corner, if I was being picky, but that made things relaxed and homely.
