The Old Mill

The Old Mill is a lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfy, there was safe parking, and the surrounding greenery made it a peaceful place to relax. Simon was a great host, and we especially enjoyed the fresh eggs from his chickens and geese as a welcoming treats. We did our food and gift shopping in Dulverton, which is very dog friendly, all the shops welcomed dogs except the Co-op. We also visited and enjoyed walking in Exmoor National Park, which is only a few minutes’ drive from Dulverton. Despite experiencing all sorts of weather, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it. Just be aware, if you have a dog, that there are friendly chickens and geese roaming freely around the garden. Thank you

Such a warm and comfortable cottage with everything we needed. Great beds combined with lots of fresh air meant that we slept really well during our stay. Well located for access to many tourist areas but still far enough away that it felt very peaceful and chilled. The owner was welcoming, friendly and on hand should we have needed anything, however we felt that we had all the privacy we needed. Can’t recommend the Old Mill highly enough.
