Location was beautiful, hosts were wonderful, very helpful. We couldn't have picked a better place for a holiday. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable and the patio at the back was wonderful.

My only criticism is the carpet upstairs, purely from a health point of view, as an asthmatic I generally try to avoid places with too much carpet in the bedrooms. It was also quite hard to hoover it. Don't want it sound as though it was a huge issue, just maybe something for the owners to think about 😉

Great location, you need your own transport but Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach and its a lovely drive through the countryside to visit any of them. The cottage itself is comfortable and cosy and had everything we needed, the view from the back patio is fantastic we sat in the sun playing cards and enjoying it and a couple of beers all afternoon. I would highly recommend if you’re looking to relax and take in the beauty of the Peak District.
