Friendly stuff, room was clean and bed comfortable. Everything was great.

They have an equipped kitchen for common use, which is very helpful.

No paper towel in the bathroom. No air conditioner in the hallway, so you feel cold when you go from your room to go to the common bathroom, which is smaller than I thought.

A good youth hostel

Bathrooms were eco friendly and kept clean - the outdoor courtyard was nice and coffee was free. Beds were well partitioned, with curtains for bottom beds.

Fantastic welcoming and family friendly hostel

Amazingly helpful staff, keen to welcome my disabled child, lovely spacious room, relaxing courtyard and communal space, appealing breakfast, handy kitchen and good facilities, helped with luggage storage. Great value. Fantastic!

Staff were super friendly, they provided a lot of good recommendations of where to eat and some of the cool sights to see. Dealt with a major issue that happened with another guest very professionally, was very impressed.

Top bunks did not have high dividers so sleeping was a bit awkward. Not much area to store luggage in room

Good central Lyon and also quiet.

20-min walk to Lyon Part-Dieu and 10-min walk to Presqu’ile and busy central Lyon. Nearby streets have Middle Eastern and Lebanese food and shops, but rooms are quiet. Shared common areas are comfortable to eat meals but a bit cramped and tight.

Private room has window immediately beside outdoor common area.

Not bad for one night

Staff is great. Lobby has a good atmosphere and very large. Room is clean

The room was small and the air was heavy because of that. Pillows are very small and flat. Bathroom is shared with a toilet- not convenient for a hostel. Bathroom was quite shabby.

Pratical, nice and a very correct price.

the fact that it was rather close from the center of Lyon (Bellecour… etc) and how the hostel looked aesthetically.

There was a problem with the door of the dorm I stayed in (room 4), it was rather complicated to open properly and discreetly the door, especially at night. And I feel like there should be a sort of rule in dorms for people not to turn on the BIG light at weird hours (at night or at 7:30am)… etc. But I was generally satisfied with this place, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The personal space and curtains were good. The personnel were great!! WC was quite clean.

Noise. At midnight someone talked in the garden, and their noise was disturbing. Our window was close but still I could hear them clearly. In the common shower, even though it was late, someone was making noise, listening to music, etc. The problem is just noise.

everything I could want

I loved the chilled vibe of the hostel, the breakfast that was provided and the overall facilities were great with comfy beds. I felt safe and the staff were excellent. good location and great area to access all public transportation.

the kitchen was small and my bathrooms shower head was broke. the area felt slightly sketchy as a woman on my own but nothing happened that made me feel uncomfortable. just a lot of men loitering at night. take the other way if you can.

Perfect

I highly recommend this place to stay. The personnel is very friendly. The location is ideal, it is close to all the tourist areas of the city. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The toilets and showers are very clean.

Just ok

The hostel was ok, it was not far from the train station and we were able to leave our luggages there until the time of the check-in (which was pretty late tbh). The staff was friendly.

The interior courtyard was under construction, so we were not able to enjoy it and we only found out about that when we got there. Also, the windows of our room were opening towards this courtyard, so we were not really able to open them, because it was loud, and anyone could hop in. But this is all details.
