Breakfast was excellent. The breakfast staff was really attentive, lots of options.

Considering the price I paid—which was quite high—I was disappointed with certain aspects of the guest experience, particularly at reception. We arrived late and very tired after flying from Recife and then driving a long distance to Puerto de Galinhas. As international travellers, we were required to complete the check-in ourselves by photographing our passports, while the reception staff simply guided us through the process. Given the circumstances and the hotel’s positioning, I found this to be a very low-cost approach. It was the first time I had experienced this in a hotel of this price range, and it immediately took away from the sense of welcome and hospitality. Instead of feeling looked after, it felt transactional and impersonal, which unfortunately created a “cheap” impression and disrupted the luxury vibe I had expected based on the hotel’s online presence and reputation. Another disappointing moment occurred when I accidentally locked my key card in the room. When I went to reception for assistance, a comment was made suggesting I should return the card if found because there could be a cost involved. Given the amount I had paid and the fact that this was a simple, first-time mistake, I found the comment unnecessary and inappropriate. It was again the first time I had encountered such a remark in a hotel of this standard. While the reception experience was disappointing, I want to highlight that the hospitality staff in the restaurants, bars, and pool bar were excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. In terms of facilities, the pool area and beach furniture could benefit from updating, as comfort and overall condition feel slightly dated. The pool itself could also use some refurbishment. Overall, the hotel aligns with a four-star standard, but there is clear room for improvement. I also upgraded my room, yet I felt there was a lack of transparency around additional costs. For example, coffee capsules.

I liked everything

The location, it’s in the middle of the beach and right in front of the sea.

Id prefer to have the check in done in person at the desk. The bedroom had leak with the hygienic shower next to the toilet which was fixed. The toilet was blocked, but also got fixed. The bar didn’t have Sake? We stay for five days and everyday I asked for sake but they didn’t bother to buy a bottle. I was using the sun beds in front of the sea on sand/beach. I ordered some food. When the food arrived the waiter asked me to get up and pick up a table so he could serve the food. The problem is that first of all I was paying to be served, secondly I had to get up and go all the way up to get a table? Would that not be something for the staff to do?!!! The toilets by the pool were dirty all day long. The bar doesn’t serve large bottles of water. Only small plastic bottles. Glass bottles would be ideal. The beach towels were thin, smelly, and very worn. I passed out in my room knock my head and the floor and had a convulsion, I told the reception and asked what to do, the receptionist said that she was sorry and suggested that I would go to the emergency service near by, but there was no much empathy or worry about my situation. We paid for the premium room. It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel didn’t even wrote a note. Instead they sent me a link to buy some add ons for the event!
