El hostal es bastante sencillo, recomendable principalmente para llegar a dormir. No cuenta con espacios de distensión cómodos para momentos libres, lo que se echa de menos si la estadía es por más de una noche. Los dormitorios cumplen con lo necesario para descansar. En vehículo se encuentra muy cercano al comercio del sector, aunque es importante considerar que en Ensenada la oferta es limitada y la mayoría de los locales, incluidos restaurantes, cierran temprano.
Como puntos a mejorar: no hay televisión, ni en los dormitorios ni en el salón común; al atardecer hay presencia importante de zancudos; el desayuno es muy repetitivo (huevos revueltos, tostadas, waffles o panqueques, café, leche o té, sin jugos); y sería recomendable mejorar la presentación personal del personal que atiende (muchas veces atendieron en pijamas).
