Huaqiang Plaza Hotel Shenzhen

The place was situated in a good location, staff was great.

The laundry dryer wasn’t the greatest. I tried both dryers and clothes never dried after being in it for over 2 hours.

My recent experience at the Huaqiang Plaza Hotel in Shenzhen was absolutely wonderful, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the immaculate cleanliness and the generous space offered in the rooms. The ambiance truly exudes a sense of luxury, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. What elevated my experience even further were the exceptional staff members, Anne Wan and Jonathan Yang. Anne was an absolute delight – her friendliness was infectious, and her attentiveness to our needs was remarkable. She went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. Similarly, Jonathan Yang was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, always ready with a smile and assistance. Their dedication to guest satisfaction truly made a significant difference and contributed to an unforgettable visit.

It’s a very small issue but the waiting times for the lifts and how we have to stop at the lobby level before traveling up to our rooms especially during late timings.

1) Location Located 2min walk from train station. Next to electronics mall. 2) Staff Staff in housekeeping and front desk provide good service. They are very helpful. 3) View No need to ask for high floor as hotel starts from Level 23 and above. Pretty decent view and even in elevator you get the views. 4) FIFA World Cup Free live telecast in breakfast venue. 5) Spacious Room Size Very comfortable stay with good room size 6) Food Free supper —2 options avail (not the most fantastic tasting but the fact that they offer it free is good enough) Breakfast wise there is a good spread with daily change in menu (substantial change). Effort is commendable.

1) Attention to details Housekeeping could have helped to fold the pyjamas and place on bed instead of leaving them strewn on the couch. That would have been really nice. They also assumed that my opened facial cleanser was to be thrown away. Actually I could use it for a few times. 2) Restaurant staff Over our two breakfasts there we noticed that one of the waiters (middle aged uncle) was somewhat picky with his work. He would clear the tables with less plates and leave the messier ones to his younger her colleagues to do. For our table he offered to clear the smaller pile of plates. When I told him not to take that pile and instead take the dim sum basket pile he just walked off without returning.
