The location and the views from the rooms to Ponte de Lima are the best plus points about this lodging. We really enjoyed staying here, walking along the Roman/Medieval bridge from the town to the hotel and back, going to sleep and waking up with a magnificent view… all wonderful and inspiring!
The rooms are very very small - I've seen bigger rooms in hostels. The toilet seat was extremely small and uncomfortable.

The hotel was well placed, easy to find, central without being in the centre of the tourist area. My room.was clean. The staff members I met were polite and helpful. The breakfast was lovely.
I was disappointed that there was no water, or tea and coffee making facilities in my room. I had got these as standard in the other hotels I stayed in during my trip to Portugal, and this hotel was the most expensive. Furthermore, the place was tiny, with just enough space in the bathroom to close the door. There was no hook for the bath towel, and the only toiletries supplied were a tiny bar of soap and one little bottle of shampoo - again, shower gel had been supplied in the other hotels. Lastly, the lighting was pretty awful, not anywhere as bright as was needed to read in bed.
