almost perfect

Breakfast was very similar to a Turkish one, and in fact, a Turkish descendant lady served us during our stay and spoke perfect Turkish. When we entered the breakfast hall in the lobby, I noticed a gentleman in his late fifties whom I remembered from a past stay and exchanged greetings. Then the same gentleman reached for the TV remote and switched to a Turkish TV channel, which made all of us happy. You hardly see that kind of kindness these days. I personally thanked him for his kindness as I departed.

A variety of food for breakfast may be arranged a bit more richly, especially one product, cheese, which was surprising. I would suggest black olives and fruity yogurt

It is a hotel I would choose when I go back.

I've stayed here twice before and would choose it again. Its proximity to the beach and parking are great advantages. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

A decent place to accomodate

The breakfast was good. The parking place is big enough. The apart hotel is well located and close to the city centre. The staff was good and helpful. The place is quiet and not stressful. The room was clean.

The hotel is old. The heating system and rooms should be renewed. The doors should be locked before operating the electricity with the provided card, as the key is attached to it.

Overall good value for money.

Good hotel.Nothing flashy but quite comfortable. 200 metres from the beach,50 meters from Lidl supermarket . The breakfast was basic but good.A bit far from restaurants though.If you decide to walk the nearest restaurant is about 2km away.

The breakfast preparing staff was great, they were extremely polite and kind.

There is obviously some improvement needed regarding breakfast. It seemed like the old jams, chocolates and yoghurt containers were not replaced but were replaced with the ones that were missing, the jams and chocolates were lumpy. I think the yoghurt should be replaced every day and the boiled eggs should not be stale. Unfortunately the croissants were also stale.

Good hotel overall

The room was nice and spacious. The cleaning staff and front desk staff are great.

The AC really didn't work. When it did come on, barely any air came out. The rooms aren't sound proof all the way, as I could hear the neighbors constantly dragging things across the floor and slamming their door.

Super clean room-friendly people

I am very satisfied with my stay at Thalassa Apart Hotel. The receptionist was very friendly with me and the room was super clean and comfortable. The owners were so nice with me and gave advice about were I could eat. They also helped me with the reservation. I definitely will stay here when I come to Alexandroupoli again.

shower has a short old curtain and all water was all over the floor. room has not been updated the last 10 years at least. not facilities to make a tea or coffee in the room.
