Better Than Home Apartment Budapest

Ubytování splnilo naše očekávání, překvapil nás dostatek ručníků a osušek. Klimatizace byla velice vítaná v těch horkých dnech. Apartmán je umístěn ve starém pavlačovém domě, ale má své kouzlo a cítili jsme se tam bezpečně a byl zde klid. Navíc je to jen pár minut na metro či tramvaj. Výborná komunikace s Alexem.

Bardzo dobra komunikacja z właścicielem ale również dbałość właściciela (rodzinny interes) o zrozumienie wszelkich zasad korzystania z apartamentu. Położenie apartamentu idealne do zwiedzania Budapesztu z wykorzystaniem komunikacji miejskiej - dwie linie metra w odległości 5 min. drogi, 5 minut do placu z marketami spożywczymi i restauracjami. Sam apartament bardzo czysty, funkcjonalny (byliśmy w 2 osoby), z klimatyzacją zapewniającą w upalne budapesztańskie lato komfort termiczny. położenie okien od strony podwórka zapewnia ciszę w nocy. Wartością dodaną jest sama zabytkowa kamienica, ciekawa architektonicznie i jej specyficzny klimacik (oczywiście to kwestia gustu).

The apartment will provide travellers a unique experience of local living. The apartment was spacious and has all the facilities as listed and the host kept close contact with us to ensure all was going well. The apartment is close to a number of restaurants at the end of the street, eg Time Out Budapest, well located and within walking distance to many of the attractions on the Pest side of the river.

There are two sets of entry to get to the apartment. It would be helpful to have contact details for emergencies and assistance if needed.

Location was really good. Everything was close. Apartment itself was nice. The owner was very responsive.

Overall, the apartment was nice, but unfortunately, I experienced bed bug bites. My arm and leg became swollen and itchy, and I had to buy antihistamines to reduce the inflammation. When I contacted the host, he apologized and tried to help by bringing a new mattress and spraying the bed with insecticide. He also left extra coffee capsules as compensation, which I appreciated. Additionally, the door is quite difficult to lock and requires extra effort to close properly—replacing the lock would make it much more convenient. The apartment is also not very soundproof, as I could hear noise from outside. While the host was really nice and responsive, I believe better maintenance and cleanliness would help ensure a more comfortable stay for future guests.
