We could have stayed longer as everything was perfectt

The location.

Considering this was one of the expensive rooms in Sorrento, there were several issues that I feel are important for future guests to know about. There was no Wi-Fi, so I had to use my own mobile data, which cost me an additional $5 per day. There was also no hair dryer in the room. An iron was only available upon request and, even then, could only be kept for one day. The coffee machine. The water inside was dirty, which I unfortunately only noticed after I had almost finished my coffee. Realising that I had been drinking coffee made with dirty water was extremely unpleasant and raised concerns about cleanliness. You can also clearly hear noise from the other rooms, even after midnight due to later checkings of other guests. The walls appear to be very thin, so conversations can easily be heard, which can make it difficult to sleep. Another major concern is that there is no reception. Luggage is left unsupervised in the reception area, just a few metres from the main entrance. I saw other guests' luggage sitting there unattended both when I entered and when I left the building. It did not seem secure. The lack of reception also means that after checking out, there isn't really a proper or secure area where you can wait with your luggage. You can leave your luggage there, but you are asked to leave the building as soon as you check out, so there is nowhere for guests to wait if they have time before their departure. Any one of these issues might be understandable at a budget property, but when you are paying an highest room rates, the overall standard and level of service should be significantly better.

Fantastic location, tucked away in the old town down a gorgeous alleyway. Really close to the action but quiet and private too. Very friendly hosts.

the rooms are cleaned everyday which I feel is a little excessive if you have a short stay, the cleaner also threw away a tag from my dress which I wanted to keep. This also causes noise from the other rooms early in the morning, the walls are paper thin, we couldn’t sleep due to the balcony being shared with a bar so we’re people drinking just outside our patio doors. Woken up early by dragging furniture around in other rooms and then could hear loud talking and an exercise class next door!
