Studios At Glenthorne

I stayed in a single studio room with a kitchen and bathroom. The studio was very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and I ate in the room each evening. The owner is helpful and self check-in details were provided. The property is about 15/20 mins walk from the town centre and is in a good location. The area is quiet and I slept very well. I stayed whilst walking in the Brecon Beacons. I’d stayed previously and will hopefully stay again.

Fabulous hosts, so welcoming and friendly. The location was fab, really quiet area but still close enough to walk into town. The studios are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Our room had a hand held steam press for our clothes which came in really useful. Also all the usual bits like hairdryer, kettle, mobile room fan and fridge (with a little ice box, a fresh pint of milk and a bottle of chilled water).. The toiletries in the bathroom were quality products and the fresh welsh cakes in our room was a lovely touch. I can't thank you enough. We will definitely be staying again and recommending you to family and friends.

We had the studio with the kitchen. The room was huge and really comfy. Beautifully furnished, as is the entrance hall. It really is a gorgeous house. We didn't want for anything, everything we would need for our stay was there in the bedroom and kitchen area. Fabulous hosts, thank you so much 😊.

Location as it’s 3 minutes drive to town. The complementary Welsh cakes was a nice touch.

It was cold inside the flat, even texted twice asking for the radiators to be turned on and when the heating came on it was still cold. The radiator was on max but you could put your hand on top of it for hours and it was still Luke warm at best. No interaction with the property owners what’s so ever which was a shame. If you have the downstairs flat be aware of the flat above as you basically get up when they get up, all the walking around above us was annoying. Parking could be an issue if you have mobility issues as you have to hope you can park on the main road at best which is a steep hill.
