Our apartment is actually in a lovely detached building, very cute, spacious and clean. The resturant/pub is in the main building just beside our apartment, with very kind and friendly staff. It is an absolutely beautiful place, we will love to stay there again!

We were self catering. We walked into Kendal, it was about a 25 minute walk into centre. We saw loads of buses stopping at a bus stop outside the accommodation and they were going into Kendal. We were going to get the bus, but we decided to walk.

Great accommodation, stayed in one of the lodges , very clean, comfortable, well equipped. Had a lovely meal in restaurant .Staff welcoming & helpful

The location is good. The nearby restaurant is good.
The bed and mattress was not well maintained. There was a rusting smell when we check-in and we have to open all the windows to allow fresh air to come in, along with buds.
