We loved our little stay in Kendal. Nice little wind down. My job as a nurse manager is very stressful

Lovely little lodge that suited me and my partner.

When we opened the dish washer it smelled of drains so needed to be put on to use regularly. Other than that it was perfect.

Perfect little Snug.

Loved the quirkiness of the Snug and was very impressed with the workmanship. It does take care, initially, moving up stairs and around wide beams but although we're elderly we managed perfectly. Excellent staff, so friendly and helpful, and they couldn't do enough to ensure we were comfortable. The pub area was homely and buzzing in the evening. Good noise control and CCTV were noticed and the food choices were plentiful. A really nice place to stay and would recommend.

WIFI almost unusable, very disappointing. Too cold in the rooms, even with heaters on wasn’t really warm enough to feel comfortable in winter. No shower

Worst British accommodation company I have ever dealt with

DO NOT BOOK HERE I made a complaint prior to staying here since the photograph in their booking.com advert showed a kitchen equipped with a cooker and oven. It did say in the small print that there was only a microwave. I suggested using admittedly harsh words, but none the less no abusive that this was poorly advertised. As a result of this they rang me and cancelled my booking without my consent. I have also received no refund. My wife and son who were looking forward to a stay over were left devastated. I have evidence of all of the above. Basically they couldn’t handle criticism, took my money and cancelled me last minute. Absolute disgrace of a company whom will be refunding me a lot more than the £200 that I paid once I process my civil legal complaint.

Lovely apartment attached to a great restaurant/ pub .

A quirky apartment .Sitting room / kitchen was comfortable. Large Tv s in both rooms a bonus . Huge comfortable bath , plentiful hot water and novel to watch the huge TV whilst bathing !!

Would have liked opportunity for more subdued lighting in sitting room on an evening eg standard lamp . The mattress could have been firmer - personal taste .It was a tad noisy turning over because of wooden base .

Lovely Place To Stay in Kendal, not far from town centre.

I liked the layout of the flat. I liked it was to the side of the restaurant, not above as noise can rise up. The food in their on site restaurant was very good. The walk into town was was straight forward.

Check out time of 10am is too early for me.

Dreadful do not stay here

I tried to cancel and get money back but they refused so I thought I would go anyway. Well what a dump in a horrible location. My room over looked a grotty housing estate. The lodges are not maintained at all and the noise coming from the pub is terrible. No parking spaces left. If you want a relaxing stop over do not stay here it looks nothing like the photos. DO NOT STAY HERE. Nothing to like.

The property was in a great location, very clean, rooms were quirky and the bar was amazing . The pub had a lovely atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

A very good stay at Christmas. We were blessed with sun and enjoyed the sunrise from the property.

Fine for 4 people. Loved the restaurant on Boxing Day. Cosy at Christmas.

Amazing stay 😄

Amazing lodge so clean and cosy. Perfect location 10-15 walk into Kendal. Had a lovely meal in the pub/ restaurant right next door.

The only thing that spoiled it was the people above. Came back drunk banging and arguing until 4 in the morning. Obviously the owners cannot be blamed for that but hopefully can stop them booking again.

HIGH QUALILITY ACCOMMODATION WITH VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. VERY HANDY FOR PUB FOOD

The staff and in particular the manageress were very attentive, helpful and friendly.

It would have been nice to have full cooking facilities in the Snug accommodation and not just a microwave.

Great for a one night stopover

Beautiful apartment (Snug 1) - lovely modern rustic style. Fantastic bunkbeds - kids found very comfortable. Huge TV in bedroom.

Mattress on double bed not comfortable- could feel springs; no shower, only bath. Standby light on TV in bedroom very bright & not possible to turn off.

Beautiful apartment, close to shops and takeaways. Clean tidy and cosy. Felt at home and relaxed during my stay. I would definitely return. Ordered food from the pub which was brought up to our room for a quiet tea.

everything went well, the young lady assistant, called victoria , who took us to our room, and showed us round the apartment was really kind and helpful, pointing out all the facilities and asking genuinely, would it all be all right for us, and it was. we had a lovely time. the food was really good in the romneys restaurant, too.

Great accommodation and alternative to a hotel.

One night stay, clean comfortable, nice bathroom, plenty of room, tea coffee etc provided. compact but very usable. Bar restaurant was nice and decent bar food.

Came by train, 45 minute walk from station. 30 Min walk into town centre. Can't fault accommodation itself.

Enjoyable stay in Kendal

This was a quirky little property which we enjoyed staying in for one night on our travels to Scotland. It had everything we needed and more and was excellent value for money. We were slightly later than the check in stipulated due to driving in a storm but there was flexibility. The staff were lovely and welcoming. I would highly recommend

This is not something we didnt like but something to be aware of, the steps to the bedroom were right and the bathroom had a low ceiling, the bunkers are in the same room as the double room. None of this bothered us, we were a family of three, it suited us perfectly.

Nice apartment

staffs are excelllent, food is also nice. Bed is comfortable. Room has good smell and super tidy and clean, kudos to hospitality staff. The only thing is the toilet is for short people, fine by me, im short and im happy with it. love the skylight.

if you want to quick shower, you cant. You need to have a bath.

Cosy mini getaway with cottage vibes - perfect place to stay in Kendal

The room had a very cosy, warm and homely feel to it. I loved the decor and furnishings in the bedroom. I felt like I was in a cottage in the middle of nowhere, which to me, was perfect. The bath was in the floor and I'd never used a bath like before which was really nice. Everything was perfect.

Lovely place to stay

The place looks really cute, very pituresc and different standing out from other places near towns. And although a bit weird. theres a full wall glass on the bathroom upstairs where the room is, that if you are sitting downstairs in the couch, you can face your partner upstairs while hes in the toilet.. I got mixed feeling about it XD I think some cover on that window might be needed ahah The restaurant downstars food was really good and good carparking

Just perfect!!

It was so nice for a night away as a couple, the staff in the pub downstairs were lovely, the room was romantic, (even planing on making my own loft look like it) it was spotlessly clean.

We were a Little warm through out the night, fan was provided though, but other than that nothing.
