IT WOULD BE GOOD HAVING A CHOICE OF PILLOWS IN THE ROOM, ONE SOFT ONE FIRM, WE HAD ALL SOFT.

Decent Ibis hotel

Very much a standard Ibis. It suited our needs and is close to the village of Camembert, which we wanted to visit.

Easy check in Bar looked welcoming. Shower was hot and powerful. Good size beds Clean Near electric chargers.

Ideal for overnight stay following ferry crossing

The hotel is just the right distance from the car ferry at Caen . There is a receptionist there at 11.00pm. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

Awful Front of House Experience - No Staff

Convenient

Honestly poor procedure !! Checked in late and offered credit card to pay and receptionist was not interested and handed me a key. Tried to check out next day, rang bell on 3 occasions over a 30 minute period nobody showed up at reception. Just left as Booking.com had my credit card and we had to be somewhere. Now the hotel are blowing up my phone wanting payment but won’t provide me with a secure payment link. I’m not giving a CC number over the phone. Booking.com have charged my card for the room. Maybe look at your poor front of house service before you inconvenience guests. Don’t call me again unless you can provide me with a secure payment link for the extras.

It is the only option in Falaise, basically.

The room smelled bad and the breakfast was poor. They only have scrambled eggs, which aren't really made of eggs, but from these industrial eggs in cartons. I requested fried eggs but they say they don't do it.

Beautiful old auberge! The restaurant area and breakfast area were particularly stunning. The rooms are in a separate, and equally picturesque building. Friendly for dogs too Highly recommended!

Slightly out of town centre location but well served with its own restaurant and nearby supermarkets and Macdonalds. Breakfast was very good and quite substantial. Parking was safe and secure. ideal location for touring lower Normandy.
