Everything was great, except air conditioning, room 121, made plenty of noise but no cold air came out

Great location, close to airport with a good selection of eating places nearby. Can recommend Hippopotamus for food. Hotel was very clean - looked almost new - and we had everything we needed. Due to a new self check-in system, we initially couldn't access the hotel, but a member of staff who was off-duty very kindly booked us in. Didn't get his name, but thank you. Good value for money, with breakfast included.
Self check-in was a pain as we weren't given an access code. The shower tray was slippy - could do with a mat - and quite a step up/down to the floor. No lifts - not ideal with heavy suitcase.
