Ideal location very friendly staff, limited parking
Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Parking was very limited and we sat down in the library one Wednesday evening and ordered 2 large glasses of wine, the cost of these 2 glasses was extortionate, but after noticing a small note suggesting that on WINESDAY! if you ordered 2 large glasses of wine you got the rest of the bottle for free, i approached the staff and they after checking gave us the rest of the bottle. Should the staff inform us of this when ordering or is it up to the buyer to inform the staff? Having said that it didn't detract from our stay and would go back.

Lovely location very comfy and great for a relaxed break away
Bed was really comfy and breakfast was lovely , good location. Robes and slippers were a nice touch.
The shower had some kick back when the tap was running and the hairdryer didn’t work, needed to get a different one

The food was excellent and accommodation comfortable and very well presented.
The dining room was quite noisy and hard to hear.

Fabulous location, friendly staff, good food which helped to make my son’s birthday weekend a wonderful experience.
The hotel manager was lovely and very welcoming. She made us feel very special. Also, the food was very tasty. The location was perfect and the garden was gorgeous.
The lack of reception rooms to sit and enjoy the ambiance of the cosy fires. The car park was difficult to find and very small. We were lucky enough to park in the last available space.

Excellent stay very good standard hotel.
All was very very good. Quality hotel, staff very attentive and friendly. Rooms comfortable with good facilities. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent breakfast, quality and choice of food.
