We had a really lovely stay here, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic base in Karpathos. The location is beautiful, with a wonderful view over the sea and the surrounding hills. The atmosphere feels genuinely Greek, quiet and relaxing, and the whole setting has something very special about it. The owner is fantastic: extremely kind, welcoming and always available to help with anything you may need. He immediately makes you feel comfortable and at home. The staff is also excellent, very friendly and professional. One of the biggest strengths of the property is definitely the cleanliness. This is something I personally care a lot about, and the standard here was excellent. The rooms were always extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and are basically small studios, each with its own outdoor space, terrace or garden. They are simple but very pleasant and perfect even for a longer stay. The nearest place to swim is Kastelia Bay, only about 4 minutes on foot. It is not really a traditional beach, but more of a beautiful rocky bay, almost like a natural swimming pool. The water is stunning, the atmosphere is very relaxing, and there are usually very few people. The nearest sandy/free beaches are about 1.1 km away and can be reached in around 15–20 minutes on foot. The walk is actually very pleasant because there is a path running along the coastline and the cliffs, with beautiful sea views. It is also illuminated at night. In terms of services, there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. There is also a small supermarket directly below the property, which is extremely convenient for everyday essentials. A larger and better-stocked supermarket is around 700–800 metres away, although the walk is mainly along the road, so it is not the most pleasant route. I think this is an excellent base for exploring Karpathos. Pigadia is only around 11 minutes away by car.

The only thing I personally missed was having a café or breakfast place right nearby, somewhere you can simply walk to in the morning. There are a few restaurants and a small supermarket close by, but not many other services within immediate walking distance. Apart from that, I really have nothing negative to say

Posizione strategica per spostarsi in tutta l'isola. Nella struttura è presente un minimarket che è veramente utile. La camera è pulita, arredamento semplice, un pó vibtage ma funzionale. Il padrone di Casa è ciò che rende speciale il posto. Sempre premuroso e attento ai nostri bisogni. Esperienza positivissima. Non lo metto nelle cose non piaciute dato che karpathos è molto ventosa...in alcune sere il Meltemi soffia molto forte, creando sibili importanti tra gli infissi. Non è questione di guarnizioni ma di vento. Se avete il sonno leggero onde evitare problemi portatevi dei tappi. Per il resto le camere sono molto silenziose.

Letti molto duri, ma sono gusti e abitudini 😁. Nel futuro consiglierei di mettere in topper.

Position very close to a nice baby, far from sounds and not necessary people. In a few minutes drive you reach any place in the island

Struttura molto semplice ed essenziale, ma pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Molto piacevole il terrazzino. La zona è tranquilla e ideale per chi cerca un po’ di relax.

Unico aspetto da migliorare è la doccia: ogni volta che la si utilizza, si finisce per bagnare buona parte del bagno. Sarebbe utile trovare una soluzione per evitare questo inconveniente.
