    Myself and my wife booked tower rooms for our stay in ITC GRAND CHOLA, Chennai for our 1st wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved the rooms, the ambience, food selection and their good service. However, I feel that the following points needs to be improved upon by the staff, a. Explaining details / facilities available on the hotel to the customer. I had complimentary cocktails for a certain duration in the Residents lounge as part of my package. However, we were not informed of it at the reception. b. Wifi connectivity issue - Took long to resolve, but was resolved by late Day 1 itself. c. Room had a strong smell of cigarettes although neither me nor my partner smoked, and the smell stayed everytime we came into the room from the restaurants. This slightly felt like a spoiler. All things said and done, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

    Very nice hotel! Very huge like a palace.Took the club room Room were huge, huge bathroom. Enjoyed the club facilities - especially 4-7 pm snacks & drinks. Staff were very nice, polite & professional. Bfast was SUPERB! Lots of varieties. Will definitely stay here again.

    Got it — here’s the updated review with date + hotel name: I stayed at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai on June 6th and had a very unpleasant experience from check-in till the restaurant services. 1. *Staff Attitude*: No smile, no gracious welcome to guests. The staff were reactive instead of proactive. At no point did we feel comfortable or valued. As Indian guests, we felt we were not paid much attention and felt quite unwelcomed. 2. *Restaurant/Breakfast Service*: During breakfast, the service staff seemed completely disconnected. They did not engage or offer help, and we had to ask multiple times for basic service. 3. *Room Condition*: The service apartment fridge door was rusted and broken. The freezer had heavy frost buildup. This level of maintenance is shocking for a brand like ITC. 4. *Overall*: The warmth and hospitality ITC Grand Chola is known for was missing. Staff hospitality training is urgently required. Expected much better from ITC. Hope management looks into this seriously.
