Apartment Les Genêts by Interhome

Great location - very quiet, not near any noisy roads and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Bars, shops etc also close by including the wonderful morning market at St Pierre La Mer. The flat doesn't have an outside dedicated seating space but there is a communal garden/space with some trees that provide shade. The kitchen was basically equipped for self catering. There is a hob and microwave. The hob has two electric and two gas hobs.

The toilet pan was badly stained and hadn't been properly cleaned for a long time and there was no toilet brush. I raised this with the staff they provided a brush and I did the best I could but it still needed a deep clean. The sitting room walls were shabby - dirty and wallpaper beginning to peel - the place should have had a basic redecoration to fix this before the summer. Again, I provided feedback on that to Interhome. The work surfaces and floors, and basins were all clean but there was some congealed grease on the hob controls and the spark ignition doesn't work so I didn't use the gas ones. There was some mould on the window frames.
