Barnabrow Country House

We stayed for our wedding anniversary in September and Barnabrow was amazing . It is such a unique hotel, with such character. I love the village idea of different rooms in different areas . We stayed in the main house and our bedroom was absolutely gorgeous. Such unique items to make the interior timeless . Our bathroom was big, beautiful and has a fantastic shower . The room was spotless . The bed was like a princesses bed and so comfortable. The gardens and the animals were absolutely perfect and brought me so much joy . We did the fairy trail and had a good walk . The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had . Our host was a charming lady who cannot do enough for you ! We went into Ballycotton for dinner and enjoyed coming back to the peace and quiet of Barnabrow ! I am going to book for 2 nights in the summer as we enjoyed it so much ! I feel like I’d love to try all the rooms as I can imagine each is as unique as the last ! Would definitely recommend to all. !

Charming. Fantastic breakfast. Very friendly

The fairy walk needed a bit of trimming back

Nice hotel outside Cork. Really good furniture, all new. Very good breakfast

You need a car to reach

Beautiful surroundings, great breakfast and lovely staff at breakfast.

Room was not clean, hairs on floor in bathroom very dusty and damp and ceiling in shower full of mold. I reached out beforehand to ask about wifi in the room (because i was travelling for work) and even-though i was told there was good wifi in the room, there wasn’t (i think the signal just doesn’t reach through the thick walls). I was supposed to stay for 2 nights but left after 1 and was kindly refunded the 2nd night as the room just wasn’t comfortable or suitable for me.
