Nice base for Carnac and surrounding areas
Helpful, friendly, informative host. Very spacious, studio-like room - bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, big couch, etc. Standard French breakfast was delivered in a basket and placed outside the door by 8 a.m. This is good for folks who want privacy or to be flexible with their time for breakfast. Of course, you won't be able to meet other guests to share stories and experiences. Carnac is just a few minutes away by car. Small off-street parking area but adequate and convenient. Wifi was fine.
The bed sheets - or bedding in general need to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced. They smell of sweat.

Perfect vacation stay
Warm welcome, comfortable and spacious studio with everything we needed. The biggest double bed we've experienced in France :) Delicious breakfast with perfectly boiled eggs, yogurt, bread, juice and homemade cake.
One small and easy improvement would be to use unscented/hypoallergenic detergent for bed sheets, which would be a great help for people sensitive to chemicals.

We definitely recommend this place if you want to visit the area around.
The room was very large and very well furnished with good taste. It included a large bed, sitting area with armchairs and small table, dining area with large table and chairs, kitchen with full equipment, a small additonal room for storing personal items, baggages and clothes, and a large bathroom with a well functioning and large shower. The building is nice even from the outside, it is located in a nice small garden with a lot of flowers. The location, finally, is absolutely fantastic for reaching in short time all the nice places around, in the Golf of Morbihan as well as on the Peninsula of Quiberon and Carnac.
The only thing that we would have wished to change, but it was not feasible, was the temperature in the room: we would have liked it a little warmer, exspecially during the night.

Very good
The room was huge, and had a well supplied kitchen. Outside is a nice garden area, although we didn't have time to take advantage of it. We were given a nice basket filled with a good range of good food for breakfast each morning. The location is at least 20 minutes outside of town, which worked for us but may not be convenient for everyone. Parking is on site which is good if you have a car.
The biggest problem was that for some reason the door to the outside of the building (not our room) which needed to be unlocked from the inside in order to leave, was stuck hard each morning. We literally could not pull the door handle hard enough to open the door. If it weren't for a helpful workman who we were able to toss the keys to from our second story room, we would have been trapped inside. My other lesser problem was that the sloped ceilings made it hard to get out of bed without hitting your head. Pay attention to the booking details, check-in is not earlier than 6pm, and she only takes cash.

Charming apartment in a small village
Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The place is located in a small quiet village away from roads, in an old traditional stone house, which is renovated. There is a beautiful small garden with lots of hortensias. The room is spacious, nicely decorated and has a small well-equipped kitchen. The breakfast is traditional French, with baguette, cake, jams, butter, cheese and coffee and is brought to your door in the morning in a basket. Having a car is recommended. If you drive to Kerbarch from the Auray direction, it may be more convenient to go to the next roundabout and turn around there, instead of doing a left turn directly. If you need, there is a big E.Leclerc hypermarket at Auray just within a 5-10 minutes drive. The area around has a lot of megalithic sites, but also many other interesting places, like Auray and Vannes, Quiberon peninsula, and the whole Gulf of Morbihan region. They all are close, most within half an hour drive, which makes the location excellent for exploring around.
The only downside is that provided towels were a bit smelly.

Highly recommended... A real gem
Beautiful gite... Comfortable accommodation... Friendly owners.... Location ideal. This gite was a real Gem and would highly recommend. We had French breakfast delivered to our room every morning.. What a delight! Quiberon on Saturday and Auray on Monday markets highly recommended... But go early as its get extremely busy.
