Australian Community Villages

Property was very conveniently located to where we needed to be a short distant walk away. There is a decent size shopping centre just up the road that has Woolworths Kmart and a number of other helpful shops. We were travelling with a large group of people in different rooms and one of the people were able to arrange for our group to be able to use the small community kitchen lounge which was very helpful.

We were relatively happy with our room, however there were no extra pillows or no extra blankets. We struggled to get the air-conditioner to work properly to be able to keep the room warm. I ended up walking up to Kmart to buy a blanket for my son. We found our room clean however others travelling in our group complained that their rooms weren’t 100% clean before they arrived some having rubbish in the room still. They also advertise free Wi-Fi but did not provide us with any codes to be able to use this. Reception was also closed the whole time we were there.

There was nothing I didn't like

Two beds are firm but not hard, I like it. Bed sheets are clean, so is pillow cover. Kitchen has kettle and one fry pan. Fridge is clean and no-smell. Towells are clean and are in good condition. Floor is clean. Aircon works good with heating. Bathroom setup was good and clean, has good water pressure and hot water worked perfectly.

Sofa is very dirty. I mean very dirty. Facility mush change it and may be put a cover and clean the cover over time to time. Same is for chair which has cloth based cushion. Just put wood base chair, easy to clean for cleaner. Cloth based sofa and chair is a bad choice for hotel setup.

Room was clean. Bed was quite hard. Lots of mould on bathroom ceiling. Damaged seals in shower that were also mouldy. Cockroaches

Lots of feral cats hanging around. One sprayed on bathroom window.
