Great spa, great pool, great location and great staff!

Always a great stay. And the staff are so lovely and welcoming.

Not a thing we didn’t like. We’ve stayed at this resort multiple times throughout the years and always a great experience.

Great place by the beach

Very close to the beach and the trail to Pancake Rocks. Rooms were very clean and in excellent condition. Kitchen was well stocked.

No screens on the windows (but this seems to be standard for NZ)

Great location, close a shop/takeaways and a great restaurant. Short walk to the beach and coastal walkway. Good facilities including great pool and a spa,bbqs and outdoor seating

We were told there was an EV charger but there wasn't one available during our stay. A lot of the parking was cordoned off during our stay. Daily room servicing does not include sweeping the floor or making beds

Handy beach base

Handy for the beautiful beach. Laundry facilities were useful. Bed was comfy. Good shower. Short walk to nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast. This unit worked well as our one-night stop off point heading north.

We stayed during very wet weather, which couldn't be helped, but the tiled floors throughout the unit were very wet throughout our short stay and towels and damp coats etc did not dry off inside at all.

Carpark waas allocated, yet I arrived back late in the rain to find a transpower utility in my park, the owner turned up at the same time and nothing was done. One the last night, I arrived before the transpower ute, there was another ute with a trailer at the back park and the ute took many maneuvers to get in behind me I was just out of the shower at the time so heard it but couldn't go out, it wasn't until I got home I discovered my car had been damaged on the front side panel by his ute, yet they were there in the morning they were starring at me and never told me my car had been damaged, infact as he was walking toward his vehicle I heard from inside the bathroom, the one guy say to the other you arrived too late, so if I had arrived late he would have taken my allocated park again. Also the last night when I arrived home long after office hours, my bathroom towels had been taken but not replaced, luckily there were beach towels in the wardrobe I was able to use in the morning. Large commercial vehicles should not be allowed to park onsite, maybe in the area out back that customers weren't allowed to park in. Given my vehicle was left damaged, and the issue on the last night, I doubt I would return.

Lovely little family getaway on the beach.

We were able to check in (by request) at 12.30. The unit was exceptionally clean and tidy and homely with everything we needed for cooking. Loved the sliding doors out to the pool/spa. They manage the spa in the evenings (after 7pm) with a booking system which is a great idea. Rachel who checked us in/out was so lovely and friendly and welcoming. No trouble with noise.

Obsolutely fantastic.

The location was stunning. Hosts were wonderful. Were given an upgrade. More than we expected for a small place. Everyone was friendly and very obliging. Will be going back.

Close to the beach, and a great restaurant . (The Cove). Staff were fantastic and everything in the unit was clean and smelt beautiful

The unit was like a cell, with high windows above the kitchen cupboards on one side, and a public path outside the ranch sliders on the other. Claustrophobic when the curtains were drawn. The couch was very uncomfortable. Booking on line costs 50% more, with 'extra' charges. 😒

Large well designed and spacious. The apartment was clean, with a full kitchen and tastefully designed. Great outside area and pool. It was quiet and very close to the beach and great restaurant. The restaurant covered all meals and coffee.

We had a most enjoyable time celebrating a birthday with family members also staying in other units.

Check in was very easy and receptionist very helpful. Very close to beach and good to have the pool.

It was particularly wet weather and we had to be careful accessing our room, but staff were very active in making sure that that pathway was cleared.
