The Palms Motel- Formerly Flinders Motel

Absolutely enjoyed the retro style of the motel, whilst the place has been recently renovated, the characteristics of the older style remain. My room was newly refurbished, clean, fresh linen and an excellent nights sleep on the mattress. Tea & coffee, soap & shampoo provided. There is an out door area with microwaves, washing machines and snack vending machine. The Motel is close to town. My husband made good use of the balcony watching the cranes on the work site across the road, kept him occupied , whilst I slept in.

Great spot with a super restaurant on site. The rooms were clean, linen and towels good. The place is old and facilities show their age but good value for money. Unfortunately at 4am, people next door had very noisy sex for ages, about an hour, which woke us up and kept us awake as the walls thin.

The receptionist was abrupt when calling to see what time we'd be arriving, not a good first contact for a new customer. Parking is all on a slope, which is hard for handicapped people & their aids, this I know you cannot alter.
