Great room with added bonus of a kitchen area! Top quality appliances and super comfortable room. Great location and very friendly staff

Absolutely nothing

Although a period property the room was large and exceptionally clean. Having lived in a similar I know how hard it is to keep on top of things.

I little under staffed behind the bar at lunchtime. A family of four gave up waiting to be served as we did.

Large and attractive bedrooms "above the pub" with a nicely appointed kitchenette and large bathroom. Benefitted from a large Dyson fan to help with the heatwave. We were a group of 3 (twin room and single-occupancy double) cycling "The Rebellion Way" and were able to keep our bikes overnight in a bike-store (not 100% secure so bring locks to rest easy). Check-in process from pub manager was very nicely done, and she explained the set up for taking breakfast at Byford's - which was lovely. We also ate in the pub's restaurant in the evening and had a very nice meal that was good value for money.
